Instructions

1. Melt the margarine, golden syrup, icing sugar & drinking chocolate slowly together in a large pan, rememer to stir all the time but DO NOT allow the mixture to boil.

2. Remove the pan from the heat and then gently mix in the cornflakes.

3. Then just heap the mixture into paper cake cases or a cake tin and leave to cool and set, preferably in the fridge. They should be set within about 6 hours (estimate).

These do taste proper yummy when they are all cooled down and ready to eat, really sweet and because of the golden syrup they have a nice chewy texture to them. These are perfect for chocaholics like me or for anyone with a sweet tooth because they will certainly satisfy that! Great for adults and kids alike and they dont take very long to make at all. Obviously these cakes arent very good for you so dieters should stay away but for everyone else. Tuck In! Even after they are cooked you can add little marshmallows or sprinkles and make them your own design. I used to make these with my little brother when he was about 8 and he loved adding all the little sweets to the top so another reason these are great for kids.
