Ingredients

60g of butter half a cup of caster sugar 

1 egg 

1 teaspoon of vanilla essance 

1 cup of self raising flour 

a quater of a cup of milk 

1 ripe banna (mash before starting)

Equipment 

Ring tin

Tea spoon 

Sauce pan 

Seive 

Measuring jug 

Wooden spoon 

Mixing bowl

1. Preheat your oven to 180'C (350 F) 

2. Grease a tin. 

3. Dust the tin with flour. 

4. Melt butter in pan around medium heat(don't let it boil). 

5. Take off the heat and add your sugar and your egg and vanilla essance. 

6. Beat well with your wooden spoon untill smooth. 

7. Sift in flour (don't stir it yet). 

8. Add your milk and mashed banana stir untill mixed in. 

9. Spread evanly in your tin. 

10. Bake for around 30 mins. 

Editor's note: you can put chocolate chips in the mix before you cook it.
